At the end of the day rankings are good for fanbases backing up the players they like the most but statistics only tell one part of the story….
The other big part is while both are good scorers in their own way Mikal Bridges is a way more crisp defender and more balanced in the different roles he can play for a team whereas Kyrie at this stage in his career is a starting scoring guard.
As far as Nic Claxton goes I think many people feel that after the best season of his career has been underrated by a lot of NBA media pundits. This past season he had a lot of career highs in offensive efficiency and showed he has a variety of ways he can score the basket. More importantly his defensive skills went up another level where he was the defensive anchor of the team and guarded some tough players all season….
Claxton would have made a very good addition to the team USA who was lacking a versatile defending big….
Claxton is due for a huge payday next season and this season will be important for him to fully silence any doubters and show he is one of the top upcoming big men in the league 🔥….
As far as Cam Johnson goes a lot of people probably have a lot of questions on how Cam will progress this season after inking his big new four year contract. But what's for certain is Cam Johnson is a hard worker with a very high character and someone who not only wants to contribute at a high level but be a leader of the club as well…
Johnson's continued growth this season especially after his big playoff performance this past season will be a lot of fun and intrigue to watch…..
On a different note Doug Adam Claude and others might have heard about Giannis big interview today where he said hes a Buck right now but he will not hesitate to go somewhere else to compete for another championship 🏆….
Giannis is definitely looking ahead to future opportunities and Brooklyn is a definitely a team with the draft capital contracts and young talent to make a great package to the Bucks to add the Greek Freak to Brooklyn.

Defensively Giannis and Claxton would be tough to stop on defense and could offensively put many teams on skates. Mikal Bridges as Giannis second in command would have a lot of good scoring opportunities while Johnson three point scoring could go up by a lot 🔥….
This is definitely something to monitor next off season for sure….

Nah as much as Irving was a headache Bridges ain’t better than Kyrie Irving not yet at least. I get the two way thing and that is fantastic but Irving is that dynamic an offensive player and a Hall of Famer. This isn’t about likability it’s about Talent or at least that’s what the least should be and Irving is a top 20 talent and pretty much unguardable. He is a player that would have made a major difference if he was on that FIBA team.

Nah, it ain't just the narrative with Kyrie, outside of that one playoff series, Kyrie has stuck it up like Harden if not worst. He noticeably struggles against good defenses when he's the first option.
