  1. Looking great for the Lions defensive line, reports are both starting tackles for Seattle will be out for the game one going to IR.

  2. What made Sheed essential to a title run wasn't his attitude. In a playoff series you eventually need a talent who can simply overwhelm opposing game plans, and Sheed was a 7-foot Swiss Army Knife. I'd argue that CJ is no edgier or more inspirational than Jamaal Williams, but he came along when the team's talent was a lot better and the fans were primed to expect success.

  3. The Lions need to stomp on injury plagued teams, like Sesttle right now.

If the Lions are contenders, real contenders, then they need to. They need to stomp on average teams like the 49ers and Cowboys did last week.

If they can't, or barely squeak out a win, that tells us something too. It'd tell us they haven't arrived yet.

Holmes has every reason to think this team is ready now. Now we'll see if Campbell can avoid losing 3 or 4 games to himself, like he has done to himself the last two years.

  4. I do agree Adham with the gutsy call of DC going for it on 4th n 2, however, it's not always going to pan out, especially when it's not necessary. But we did score on that drive. We just need to be cautious on going on 4th downs.
