  1. Christian, cam, christie, and hayes are gonna have breakout seasons. This is gonna be a great year for la.

  2. Christian Wood signing reminds me of the Dwight Howard signing in 2019. Many were excited, but also skeptical because of his potential bad fit in the locker room. But, Dwight was huge in the championship run. Winning cures all. It’s like a sweet smelling aroma that clears out the most pungent funk that “bad teammate” and “Selfish” labels bring.

  3. Christian Wood with ll rise up like cream on the top. He is highly motivated to work hard with players on the Lakers the will help him complement the system.

  4. Christian Buddhist Pecker Wood will be a Bodhisattva to D up and ball TF out in 2024. Lakers 2024 MNBA CHAMPIONS 🏆🏆🏆🏆 !!!

  5. I hope the Lakers manage Wood well and do not turn him out to be like Westbrook in his first year. Westbrook didn't know anybody in the Lakers roster despite LA being his hometown. He didn't have a prior connection with the coach, thus his first year was a great disappointment. Wood, on the other hand, does have a solid history with Darvin Ham that will ease up things.

  6. Could you do another video on buyout options? I'm hoping the team goes after Valanciunas assuming he gets on the market.

  7. Christian Wood had a blowup during a halftime loss a couple seasons ago…he’s been deemed a locker room cancer since…kinda messed up tbh

  8. why would wood onli jus now havin 2 shut the haters up when he joins the *laskers? seems playn w/ LEgm is truly toxic. we seen how y'all dyd russ westbrook. 😐😐

  9. Since regular season and playoffs are basically two different sports I have two different thoughts.
    1. He is a great offensive engine that will make scoring easier and should be fun to watch. Eating minutes at the big position also helps our two stars and he simply adds to our depth that makes us less reliable on the big dogs. That means they should be more set for the playoffs.
    2. The regular season is also a proving ground for Wood to see if he can stay on the floor in the playoffs when teams will be targeting weaknesses. Can he focus a bit more on being disciplined on D and can he be good enough on that end to let his offense offset his downsides? I hope so.
Either way he is an incredible bargain at the vet minimum. I'm hype for this season.

  10. AD is everything but a ball dominant player lol, even Lebron nowadays isn’t as ball dominant as he used to be, he can play off ball like he did against the Warriors

  11. He is sharing the Locker room with LeBron, he cant put himself on a tradeblock or risk being benched entirely if he misbehaves. He is on a redemption arc himself so i think he will behave to amp up his value.

  12. JSM, Just wanted to tell you that you're my SOLE source of Lakers reporting, most of the year. Once the season starts, I do love watching the highlights videos. Really appreciate all the hard work thinking through a zillion combinations. SoCalFreddy

  13. Wood like I been training for this moment my entire career, being a troubled player and getting bounced around team after team year after year, but now I’m right where I want to be, on this Lakers team on a vet min contract. I made it 🔥💪

  14. The Lakers finished last season ranked 26th NBA for total 3-point shots attempted per game and 25th NBA for TEAM 3-point shooting %.
Thats why Rob Pelinka wanted to replace injured 3-point shooting Center Mo Bamba with another 3-point shooting Center in Christian Wood.

  15. We know the paint will be clogged with 3 defenders until Christian Wood makes enough 3-pointers per game to earn the defenses respect.

  16. Anthony Davis was fighting the battles all alone as a mobile defender. The arrival of 6'8 defensive specialist Jarred Vanderbilt was a game-changer more than any other new Laker.
But he's too much of a liability as a NON-SHOOTER. Put Vanderbilt on the same Unit with Christian Wood so the 2 can hide each other's weakness.
