Kentucky basketball may be late to the party, but they’ve just offered one of the most explosive prospects in the 2024 recruiting cycle.
On today’s episode of Locked On Kentucky, Lance Dawe discusses five-star shooting guard VJ Edgecombe, an extremely athletic slashing guard/wing who has some amazing highlight reels. Edgecombe is a very explosive finisher and one of the most aggressive defenders Dawe has seen coming out of high school. He’s got a great all-around game, a promising outside shot, and a confidence that would fit in perfectly with John Calipari and the Kentucky Wildcats.
Dawe also explores an interesting topic: Who will lead Kentucky basketball in rebounding this upcoming season? It’s probably going to be Ugonna Onyenso, but why? Dawe explains while also taking a look at Aaron Bradshaw, Tre Mitchell and Justin Edwards as potential candidates.
