Maybe in a few years I will look back on this era fondly. I do don’t get me wrong, but right now there’s still that sting of how close that roster was.
Had a similar feeling with Yao + TMac era.
2009 and 2018 Rockets man. And I would argue in 2015 we had a great squad until Beverly got injured and had to rely on Jason Terry a lot to guard the PGs. Bev even after was struggling on defense understandably so.
Man Rockets basketball is full of what-ifs. Even going back to Ralph Sampson + Hakeem.

Weird, i thought Harden doesn’t play defense?
Fun fact, the bubble year Greek Fraud somehow won defensive player of the year, I think he had 66 total blocks or something and Harden had like 60 (altho Harden i think played 12 more games) and Harden led ALL GUARDS in blocked shots that year.
