As the boys were running Phoenix off of the court, Jamal yelled to the crowd – “We ready for this!” Which says so much about this team and their mentality.
He didn’t yell “I’m him” or some other exclamation about how great he is. He didn’t yell about how they were “build different” or somehow too physically superior to lose.
He was letting everyone know that the Denver Nuggets were more prepared than anyone else and that’s why they were unbeatable.
I think that mentality, let alone the fact that it was true, has a lot to do with Malone. Happy birthday Moach.
