My issue is that Dame is under contract. He should not dictate what team he wants to go. Thats the problem i have with NBA players these days. If you didnt plan to spend 3-5 years with that team, then dont sign one without an opt out. You shouldnt be allowed to choose the team you want to be traded to. That's the entire point of a contract. The Blazers own Dame's contract. They should have the freedom to choose where that contract goes and get compensated for what they want out of it. Shouldnt have signed the contract if he wasn't planning to honor it.
