  1. Rudy Gobert for Lillard would be a nice trade for both teams. Maybe trade Conley too and get an actual forward.

  2. Simple trade One of the bigs focus on getting draft compensation and put Naz ried into the starting 5 he’s too good to be on the bench

  3. We don't need those first round draft picks, we got jaden mcdaniels, naz reid and ant, future is good

  4. NO way Kessler shows out behind Kat and Naz on last years MN roster (KAT would be 5 with no Gobert). Getting traded was huge for his development, can't discount that. MN overpaid because they knew that in a situation where ANY hypothetical team offered a similar package OR a slightly WORSE package, players when given the choice will traditionally avoid Minneapolis because of high taxes and cold winters, also lots of wp lolo As for Gobert's actual value as a player, he is one of the most polarizing, so good luck getting a straight answer on that. Ultimately winning or losing will set the narrative as it always does.

  5. I paused the video haven't watched it yet. This title threw me for a loop I can't wait to hear where this is going. The trade was an amazing trade for the Jazz. I got cooked on ig and YouTube when I said this trade was dumb and Minnesota will still be trash.

  6. After watching the video, i dont totally disagree. However waiting on Minnesota to be good is like waiting to see Dame in a new jersey. Might be coming soon but who knows…

  7. Hey big homie what do you think about MN trying to move Kat to PAIR with lillard. If MN could get scoot and 1 probably not both of the other young guys they have on the roster. Send Rudy at the deadline for as many picks or another young kid with potential and you have ant with scoot and either Sharpe or Simon's plus the picks for Rudy plus the other young talent MN has. The league is moving to basically positionless basketball tell me that squad MN has after those moves isn't primed for a 4-8 year run as an elite young hungry team with dudes who can go. Because even how they are constructed it's alot of if if if's and they cold maybe be a top 4😂

  8. Who wants Towns? Knicks passed faster than light. There is no other team who wants him, his contract and his attitude

  9. As a Raptors fan, how about Siakam for KAT? What would you think Wolves fans?

  10. Tim Connelly came in and messed up the team. Thought about what he did in Denver by building up a team through the draft and said, “Nah this is Minnesota, let’s mess this up.”

  11. I think Rudy offers more to a team than Kat. He's had to play through a lot of funk. If the team can start vibing, maybe Rudy can get back to his normal self. As a jazz fan, I've thought of kat as a very skilled big man with very little impact.

  12. The worst trade in history is the nets trading for KG, and Paul pierce, trading draft picks that ended up being Jason Tatum and Jaylen Brown

  13. This trade is going to look absolutely awful for minny in a few years. Keyonte George is just another pickup for Utah from this deal and it's insane

  14. People are so quick to say it’s the worst trade of all time but don’t mention that every player in the trade except walker Kessler is now on a minimum contract

  15. KAT and Conley to Portland for Dame? Maybe KAT for Grant and Nurkic? Nurk as a backup big + expiring is kind of cool and Grant is a great starting 4. 20 point scorer, solid 2-way game.

EDIT – Nurk not expiring. Sucks he can't stay more healthy. He's a good offensive player but maybe limited minutes behind Gobert will do him good. Christian Wood-type, less the apparent attitude

  16. So just so we’re all up to date on this trade, as it stands the jazz have gotten:
Walker Kessler (third in rookie of the year voting, on the USA squad this summer), tht , Keyonte George (who was first team summer league), a max contract spot in cap space, unprotected firsts in 25’ and 27’, a top 3 protected pick in 29’, a lakers top 4 protected pick in 27’ (that was largely built around vando and Beasley that were in the original trade), and a pick swap in 26’.
