  1. This is dangerous ground because not leaving this up to the players is ludicrous what happens when player plays when they should have been resting and then gets injury” ala Kevin Durant NBA Finals…… it’s all about integrity why can’t I rest if my tired forget an injury. Problem is players are not playing for fans anymore…..💯💯

  2. I'm going with the old white man's view. Just don't play them in the 4th quarter and it will still be the equivalent to rest. At least they won't have played any defense.

  3. KD only played 65 regular season games 3 times since 2013-14. I'll take the under bet on him playing 65 games.

  4. The fines should count towards the salary cap.. that would help ensure that even the big pocket owners would have to think twice about resting healthy stars

  5. Reduce minutes played on back to back games, both ends as a substitute for rest. Or play some Jaren Jackson defense. DNP (much) – fouls. I want to see Scott Foster refusing to call fouls on CP3 to deny him rest.

  6. The players should be able to rest and miss any games that they want. They should then not be paid for those games. Problem solved. Lot less "load management" when it has direct financial consequences.

  7. Mr. Marks, you're wrong. exceptions have been made for +35 yrs old players 🙂 no LeBron on this list

  8. This is purely about the money. That TV deal is coming up and these networks are not wanting to pay to have backups play.

I always got upset that the teams with multiple stars would sit everyone on the same night, who not stranger and sit out one at a time?

Also why they chose to sit out nationally televised games. So they not understand where the money is made.l?

  9. Manage hours not games. Let these players deal with the ramifications of playing less per game and getting lower stats vs number of games.

  10. It’s a shame these new generation soft NBA players can’t play a full season. The way you guys are discussing this is like your afraid for your children to play a bunch of flag football games . Sad these players are so soft . It’s because of these crazy salaries and the way they are babied . Ridiculous

I love these new rules and I hope they keep adding to it .

These players have abused it . It’s not just ownership.

  11. Steve Kerr learned some new trick's coaching the US World Cup team. Chris Paul is going to play the Josh Hart role, PF. In the playoffs, if he makes it that far, at least CP3 won't be jacking up wild 3s before Steph sees the ball. Draymond will learn a few undetectable cheap shots as a bonus.

  12. When Draymond says something as stupid as why can’t we win six titles? Why not? And you don’t push back? You aren’t doing your job. They didn’t even make the WCF last season. They have got worse in the off season. They have an old roster that’s another year older. All the western teams got better except them. Come on man.

  13. I'm sick of all this b.s. talk about this PPP. YOU HAVE A 12-MAN ACTIVE ROSTER, PLAY ALL 12 MEN!!!! Guys don't even playb 40 mpg like 20 years ago and honestly, teams have the manpower to not have players play 30mpg. You have all these coaches, all this development, g-league teams… yet your roster 9 thru 12 can't get on the court? Gtfoh.

  14. They can trade Morris and Powell for Harden. That would give them 4 extra regular season victories. That makes them a second round exit. I have been betting the over on regular season wins the past 3 seasons. I have lost money because these clowns only play on their timetable. The new NBA rule is not going to put Kawhi and PG in uniform more often. Ballmer will pay the fine each time, only enabling this nonsense.

  15. player resting is such a stupid fake discussion – usa at its best – instead of real talk everyone acts tough without ever mentioning that there is a health reason why all these players are not playing – stupid rules or fines are not changing this – the season should cut in half 41 games^^ and even this is still to much !

  16. Is there a minutes minimum in what counts as a game played?? If not, teams will simply only play a guy two or three minutes, sub him out and have him REST for the remainder of the game. David Stern would NEVER have done anything like this because he lived by the motto that a man in his position can't afford to be made to look ridiculous and when teams start only playing guys for two minutes and this new rule not be able to punish them then once again Adam "don't call me copper" Silver will be made to look ridiculous 😂😂😅😅

  17. THE RACIST HYPOCRISY OF 1.ADAM SILVER 2. NA OWNERS 3.THE MEDIA 4. FANS IS DEMONSTRATES BY THE ACCEPTANCE OF TANKING BY SPURS, OKC THUNDER AND THEN REWARDING THE SPURS WITH THE TOP PICK AND REWARDING THE THUNDER WITH LOTTERY PICKS

  18. I don't understand how they're gonna enforce this if the team claims an injury. But some of y'all favorite players are about to be unhappy because they actually have to play now

  19. Be interesting to see injury rate at the end of this season compared to last. I wonder if this affects the rate.

  20. Kawhi needs to retire if he can’t play 82 games. If not, they should load manage his checks. What job can you show up 50% of the events?

  21. take away 1 home game if they miss a certain number of games. lets see what management does after. >.<

  22. Clippers fan here – we should have never taken Kawhi. Look at SGA right now. Should have just left him in Toronto.

  23. Shameful we think the Spurs are already planning to rest a 19 year old. Pop is to blame for starting the load resting player trend

  24. tanking for the draft is the biggest non-money problem in professional sports. the league should change that and quit bullying teams for trying to keep their players healthy. i kinda think that the draft mechanics maybe create this resting stuff at some level. the 'all-in-this-year' stuff? rebuild through the draft? i wonder what might happen if every non-playoff team had an equal chance at 1-14 (?), and every playoff team had an equal chance at 15-30, regardless of the outcome of the season. how you gonna try to lose when the best that might get you is the 14th guy in the first round? winning every year is the only thing that makes any sense. money fucks up everything beautiful. sorry, i'm kinda drunk….

  25. This bunch of 🤡🤡’s clearly get pay from Ballmer to talk good about the Clippers and never criticize them! Look at the way they talk about load managing and keep mentioning the Lakers like its not the Clippers who do it! Bunch of m0r0ns!

  26. U guys are making a mountain out of a molehill they will dress the player and park him at the end of the bench …
    Done
    Whatever

  27. NBA needs to have a lot less back to back games and more severe penalties for players resting regularly.

  28. Brian going “yeah, rough” to the Kawhi convo to move on to KPJ story really got me. Prime entertainment on a Friday lol. 37:05

  29. Just want to point out Dana white starts beating the sh!t out of his wife until he had to be restrained during a very public football game and nothing..I don't even want to mention mcgregor. Brett Favre was embezzling money from welfare, poor families, and he's giving football interviews this week.
