IMO he will not hold out. There's a clause in the CBA that states that if a player on an expiring contract (which is the case with Harden) holds out for at least 30 days, the team can prevent him from reaching unrestricted free agency when the offseason arrives. Either he will end up playing for 76ers or the team will trade him before the season starts.
You know what if Harden returns, Morey could get fired. I'd rather have the player over a terrible player picker.
Right now I don't want to focus on needing to trade Harden/Tobias/Tucker/Korkmaz/Harrell etc.etc.

The most likely scenario is Harden plays disgruntled and wrecks teams chemistry and could be a in season trade and leaves next year with the Sixers getting nothing in return and Morey is finally fired .
