This is me new to basketball. Just say Bulls 96 were the best team ever, just out of interest how come they lost 10 games that season
By definition of greatest (google it) the 96 Bulls had the greatest season ever. I wouldn't put them above the 86 Celtics or the 87 Lakers but I can't dispute the 96 Bulls as having the greatest season ever.
80's and 90's were the best times EVER, regarding NBA? close but 90s rules really and the bulls in 90ih… OMG, glad to watch that team play! Every night at 3am waking up before school to watch MJ and the bulls and finale with Supersonics!

I remember the NBA europe match Bulls vs. Olympiakos in Paris, man I watched the whole thing live on TV. That was one of the few occasions you got live NBA in germany that time. When I watch the NBA today, there is nothing even close to the seriousness of the 90s.

I was truly blessed to witness the years of MJ and the Bulls.
Steve Kerr was a bench player with the 96 Bulls. He wasnāt really even the 6th man. In todayās NBA, heās a starter with the smaller lineups and his ability to shoot the 3 ball. MJ would be even more unstoppable without the hand checking. Scottie would be Scottie, Kukoc, with his size and ability to shoot from anywhere would be unstoppable. Harper would be more dangerous offensively and just as good defensively. Denis Rodman is the one that would have trouble in this era because of who he is more than what he was. His antics could get him in even more trouble than it did in the 90ās and heād get Tād out of games so often heād become a shell of himself.
I know another team actually had a better regular season record than the 96 Bulls (by a single game) — but "if you don't win that ring, it don't mean a thing". So no one can claim the Warriors 73 win season was better than the 72 win Bulls season.
Been saying this for years! thatās 96 bulls team, irrespective of era, will win. Add hand checking, theyād win easily, without handchecking MJ will go berserk on the offensive side.
