  1. He won a championship and made another wcf. Can’t call it a disappointment at all.

  2. Back when Lebron Kawhi and KD were the top players 😢

  3. Dont let the kobetards cloud your judgement. We Laker fans have genuinelly loved this mans time here and hes brought a whole new life into what was once a "used to be" franchise he brought life into what were then the laughing stocks of the league and I think what lebron and the lakers did this past season is very underappreciated

  4. I'm just amazed what a rollercoaster it has been, from complete disaster with the young ones, to champions in the bubble with fantastic role players, to injuries and the nets leading to terrible decisions and then back from the ashes with a couple of homerun trades.

  5. Genuinely question from a causal: why are Kobe fanboys the most toxic? I’ve only been on nba comments about 4 years and you do obviously get toxic fans of all teams and players but I find them to be the most consistently toxic and deluded. I thought it was just online but thar mural thing as well.

  6. If lakers didn’t get Westbrook, I believe his run with the lakers could have been better. Not blaming Russ but he was not the piece the lakers needed.

  7. As a Warriors fan, I venture to say LeBron has had 4 HOF careers throughout his career.

CLE 2003-2010 Never averaged below 21ppg, 7x all star, 2 MVPs, finals appearance

    MIA 2010-2014: 4x Allstar, 2 MVPs, 2 championships, 2 FMVPs

    CLE 2014-2018: 4x all star, 1 championship, 1 FMVP

    LAL 2018-2023: 5x all star, 1 championship, 1 FMVP

There's nothing to discredit any of his accomplishments or say LAL is a disappointment. Tbh, he should probably have 3 jersey's retired by 3 different teams.

  8. We don't play around with goat crap here. I'm homegrown laker (50) Kobe ain't even goat in my book. I would have kept Jones traded the r_pest.

  9. He came in at 34 to a lottery team and was expected to win a championship, and did it.
Sounds like a success to me.

  10. Damn I ain’t know LeBron as been on the Lakers for 5 years already. I mean they had some ups and downs but at least he brought them a championship.💪💯

  11. He stacked, waived and traded most of his teammates. Fired 2 coaches, quit several times and just won a ring that doesn't even count.

  12. It’s wild how good this team would have been without the Russ trade and the fact they managed to salvage the team and make it a conference finals contender

  13. He shouldn’t have left Cleveland again. In 2014 he promised to stay and retire there but all that was scrubbed off the internet to protect his image.

  14. the nba wanted the lakers to have that 2020 chip, that was the year everyone was mourning Kobe, rip. the league gave them that chip out of respect.

  15. I'll just address all the Lebron haters with some facts because they sure ain't got none:
    1) Lakers don't own the draft picks notion: They just owe 1 first round pick and pick swaps to Pelicans.
    2) Bubble team was stacked: They had great role players and the team had 2 superstars firing at all cylinders and nothing else
    3) Teams who have assembled team like Suns, 76ers, Bucks all have less draft capital then Lakers
    4) Which team has repeated since Lebron has joined Lakers? None.. the talent spread is very even in the NBA currently

  16. How many times has Westbrook ruined championship hopes for a franchise and other stats?

  17. The LeBron era was the most embarrassing era to ever been a Lakers fan. I'm a Lakers fan for 20 years, I'm 32. 2021 was the greatest catastrophe in the history of NBA basketball bar none. To see this bum statpad, play zero defense, trade the whole franchise future away to try to stack the deck and even then fail in such monumental ways, it has been the worst experience a fan can imagine. The bubble ring doesn't count for shit, noboy respects it but LeBron fans, it is the butt of every joke, the Lakers, the team with the most rings in history, never needed and never wanted to win in such an fugazy manner, LeBron needed it for his narcissistic diva personality. LeBron James is simply the worst superstar I've ever seen my whole life watching basketball. A natural born loser, a joke of a man, a failed hypejob that played with 100+ all stars in this career of failure and defeat, and what does he have to show for it? 6 finals losses, 3 sweeps, 2 bronze medals, 100 playoffs losses (all time record) 33 finals losses (all-time record) a 22-33 finals record ( 40% win rate ). There is a whole list of players greater than this bum. He's not even top 10 all time.

  18. Nah lebron really him. The post-Kobe era was before lebron revived the team was probably the worst stretch of lakers basketball since before the 1980s. I really never thought lebrón would be able to win. Then watching him lead the team in the bubble and close it out, you just know he’s really that guy. It actually will be sad to not see him in the league one day.

  19. The people who think Bron's time in LA is a disappointment hold Bron to a standard that no other player has been held to.

  20. Everybody knows that russ is good but also wouldn’t fit with bron and ad bc of the lack of shooting etc. I’m still hurt to see my fav player play in my fav team and just go goofy mode 😢

  21. I’m just excited for this szn to start already😂 win or not, we might see some wild things happening bc of bronny james comming soon

  22. I wanted him to win a chip AND an MVP, lead the leauge in scoring and assists even in different years. But he just won a chip. For my expectations its been a B. In all reality it's been an A+ the Lakers used to be a laughingstock

  23. Lakers fans are crazy bozos. If not for lebron u will be very happy to be able to be included in the play in tournament at best. The guy gives u another chip. Ungrateful bozos.

  24. I feel like this year is shaping up to how 2019-20 was… they make good moves in the off season after a disappointing 18-19 and look at how that year turned out. For them health is the number 1 factor in their success. If the team can stay healthy they are probably going to the finals if not winning it
