  1. Ivey’s defense is horrible, not debatable. My hope is Monte let’s him go. Let him be aggressive in the passing lanes and get steals let him use his athleticism.

I’d be happy with similar stats on better efficiency.

  2. The both need to play off of eachother. Ivey's ability to get into the lane can't be limited. He'll open up 3s for the perimeter and dump offs in the post. I know the whole Heliocentric idea for this team, but Cade doesn't have the size or the paint dominance for the offense to be solely centered around him. Atleast not from we've seen yet.

  3. I think Iveys defense will get better. It seems to be his focus during the summer along with his 3pt shot which I believe will be 36% or higher. Don’t forget he was shooting like 38-40% from January to April out scoring his entire class for a month as well. He’s learning to use his athleticism within the NBA and I think he’ll take a bigger leap then some people think with his work ethic.

  4. I want ivey to handle the ball just as much as Cade. This idea that cade is so much better on offense than Ivey is false.

  5. I think having the fluidity that Cade, Ausar, and even Duren shows with their passing will help Ivey flourish. I think (even though they’re runs) the Rico Hines runs were good examples of that. He and Cade need to continue to work on ball-handling and defense so that they have a bag and can create for themselves with more than their height or athleticism. Ivey in particular, REALLY needs to work on his defense. Bro’s specs are too good for him not to be at least a solid pg defender. If he and Cade could meet at Ausar’s defensive level, then it’s going to be tough beating this team.

  6. Cade averages more turnovers than Ivey but we’re always talking about Ivey turnovers…

He’s been more efficient than Cade but we’re always talking about iveys efficiency
