I mean, I’ve been very open with my dislike of Stone but who is this guy? Another one of these ClutchFans “insiders”? Everything he’s saying is unsubstantiated. There have been other reports by credible Rockets reporters saying that KPJ was a well liked person around the organization. Just because he did some fucked up shit doesn’t mean that giving him a chance to turn his life around was a wrong move.

I have ZERO qualms with taking a very talented, yet troubled, player and give him a 2nd chance. It didn’t work out, but I have zero problems with the “gamble” we took.

The part about people around the league knowing that the Rockets are a toxic organization seems spot on. Wembanyama on draft lottery night was visibly relieved when the Rockets were revealed to not have a shot to get him. I think it starts at the top with Tillman Fertitta. That guy just seems toxic
