ESPN’s Zach Lowe made an interesting comment about the Toronto Raptors in a recent podcast suggesting there could be some big news on the horizon for fans of the team to get themselves ready for.
The Toronto Raptors are seemingly once again going into an NBA season with no clear direction on the outside looking in and it is leading to frustration around the fanbase and potentially on the inside of the organization’s operations.
To avoid another “all in on nothing season” could the Raptors really have something big planned for Pascal Siakam, OG Anunoby, Gary Trent Jr., and possibly even Scottie Barnes?

at the end of the day scotto implyin bogdanovic moves the needle in a siakam trade when he is just filler like hunter or capella is delusional. hawks dont have good picks so its all about the young players in any trade. if hawks wont give at least 2 of the 3 players in okongwu griffin or bufkin, they are not getting siakam.

Exactly. These are not ‘reports’, just pure speculation by supposed NBA experts. I don’t think the Raps will make any moves. Losing FVV won’t change their desire to build from the middle of the pack, why should it? They can be good enough to sell out the arena, while they wait on their prospects to show them which path to take.
Don’t care who’s in the hawks package as long as aj and bufkin are in lol. Raps would have to offload contracts tho to bring them in

What is a "Big Move"? how many teams made big moves last season and still ended up taking the L to the Nuggets. too many people are followers and not leaders while the Raptors are carving out their own path.
