Lets be realistic, Dame wouldnt even think twice to move to portland hes getting older & wants to win a championship while we are rebuilding. But its not impossible for Monty Williams to pull off some houdini shit
I don't know. Does Detroit need to ever swing for a big superstar to contend? GS didn't. OKC didn't. Memphis hasn't. Nuggets haven't. Celtics haven't. Suns really didn't until now. (I don't count the Chris Paul trade because most teams at the time thought he was washed and contract was going to be an albatross. Most of the teams that have been contenders have home grown superstars. Do I think that Detroit will need another quality upper tier veteran when they do start contending. Yes. That doesn't necessarily mean a superstar. Bucks never traded for a Superstar talent. Jrue Holiday was a good upper tier guard but not a superstar by any means. Just my thoughts.
They will take a swing on someone sonewhere between Rasheed and Dame. But not now.
