These are players from the past 5 seasons who played with the Spurs plus Vic, also is there any players not pictured that you would included if they’re still playing in the league currently.

  2. Is this before or after Dejounte became an emotional lesbian?

Looks like a for sure playoff team. Could go 2nd round, WCF at the furthest.

50 wins and deep playoff runs are wiiiiild. People forget wemby is a rookie and his impact may not be that heavy year one. In reality, this team is MAYBE as good as a healthy bulls roster with lonzo.

Not too far without Dougie McBuckets as an anchor. Sad.

Who’s the starting 5 in this team?

I’d replace Lonnie with Bassey and Richardson with Doug. They’d be top 4 in the West.

If we’re going to include DeMar why not Aldridge too? 5 years ago he had arguably his best offensive season of his entire career in dragging that extremely offensively limited, leonardless, squad to the playoffs

If we’re throwing Aldridge into this group as well, that’s definitely a 50 win team.

A starting lineup of Aldridge/ Jacob (depending if you want offense or defense), Wemby, DeMar, Devin, and DJ would have it s spacing issues but it would also include so many guys that can create their own offense

Then you make a bench unit of white, Richardson, Johnson, sochan, amd Collins….oof that group is actually pretty damn nice on both ends. Well, that’s starting group is probably somewhere around the middle of the pack. In regards to starting lineups, that bench unit. Would arguably be one of the best in the entire league If not the best

45 wins would be what I would expect as the floor with 58 being the ceiling, particularly if Victor is 75% as good as we hope he will be year one, and We are getting peak demar and lamarcus

Purely hypothetical right? No way we could pay them all. Easily a 50 win team since you got near 40 wins with DJ Murray and the team always were missing players due to health.

Look – it’s an interesting (though entirely unrealistic) hypothetical that team is deep as hell, and would do well in the regular season, but I can’t see them getting through 2 or 3 rounds of the playoffs. Look to me like the Quinn Snyder Jazz, or maybe the recent Celtics at absolute best – but no-one as good as Tatum.

Demar is “the” guy, but is he the “THE” guy. Without shooting, either from himself or around him, does he have the ability to truly take over in the playoffs?

Do you trust DJ’s halfcourt playmaking in the playoffs? You’re probably actually better off starting DW at point and Devin at the 2, even if neither has individually shown as much at this point.

And the front court isn’t much different to now – and as currently built probably wouldn’t work in the playoffs. Wemby doesn’t yet provide enough spacing (that might change) and having 2 of Wemby/Poeltl/Sochan/Collins, and without much shooting in the backcourt/wings, is really gonna clog your lane.

In fact – outside of possibly needing Demar’s “alpha”-play, I think the best potential lineup of that group is actually going to come from just developing the guys we have: a Wemby/Sochan frontcourt should be the staple for years to come, with Devin on the wing. Keldon is “fine” as the 4th starter (obviously Demar would be a huge improvement) – but we would probably want a PG better, and different to, any of those guys listed.
