It’s a real ring for sure. But Lakers definitely had an extra variable advantage of having older injury prone guys resting and healthy for the playoffs. LBJ, AD…even Dwight Howard became the Jokic stopper.
The biggest disadvantage of older teams is a long gruelling NBA season. Their advantage is mental toughness and experience. So the bubble didn’t affect them, compared to young bloods who were sneaking in girls into the bubble 😂.
Not a fan of putting asterisks on any championship. Including the bubble, if your team won you wouldn’t want people discounting that. They won.

I’m a big believer in that the level of basketball being played at the bubble was out of this world. It was pure hoops at the highest level, no distractions and leveled playing field.
