  1. Nick nurse is a great fit for this team, however embiid and harden being divas are gonna be a problem.

  2. Nick Nurse is a terrible fit as a coach for the Philadelphia 76ers and any team that needs/wants to monitor the minutes of its/their star players. Last season, the five 'best' (and I use the term loosely because some of these aren't the best in any team in the NBA) players on the Toronto Raptors probably averaged the most minutes per game of any 'best five' of any team – Pascal Siakam (37.4 minutes), Fred Van Vleet (36.7), OG Anunoby (35.6), Scottie Barnes (34.8) and Gary Trent Jr (32.1). With these players playing all of these minutes, the team finished 41-41 and missed the playoffs. Even worse, as a consequence of relying so much on these five guys, Nurse didn't develop a good rotation of players coming off the bench, especially at the guard positions. And now he thinks that in Philly, he ought to get Joel to play more games. Joel just had about the best season in terms of his health and availability during the regular season and he still burned out/played hurt in the playoffs. So upping his number of games, maybe even his minutes is the way to improve the team's chances of contending for a title? That's definitely not going to backfire…

  3. Nick Nurses comments is exactly what load management should be. Instead of players missing games completely just have them play less minutes in certain games. Maybe they play a half, or a few minutes each quarter. I don't know why they have to completely miss games if they're not injured.

  4. More games played means more chances to win games which means higher chance to get a better seeding. Nick been there and done that. Think he has a better idea what he's doing than the youtube commentators. Btw, he had a star in Kawhi already think he knows how to manage a star's minutes for a chip

  5. Anyone else have an old habit of liking these videos as soon as you click on them but then you hear or see MaLika and instantly come to your senses and dislike??

  6. Nurse tends to lead heavy on his starters. Difference now is he has an older team and new team relies heavy on a centre with conditioning problems.

  7. Players won’t go along with this quietly…their stats will go down significantly, it will effect contracts, $, etc

  8. Today's NBA is not analogous to to pre 2010. Stop making comparisons about yesteryears NBA players to Today's. Today's players literally cover twice as much ground; twice as many steps per game.

  9. While I an anti-load management, players in the 90s took injections so that they could play thru injuries.
