[Tim MacMahon] Per Thunder, Aleksej Pokuševski sprained his right ankle and will be re-evaluated in approximately six weeks, meaning the former first-round pick is likely to be sidelined to start the regular season.

Sad to see I’m not much of a Poku believer but he was improving last season and keeps getting hurt.

Man, Poku can’t catch a break. This is such a bummer to start what is possibly a make or break season like this.

But ppl got mad at me when I said he was injury-prone. He seems too fragile to play an 82-game season.

Been off the Poku hype train for awhile tbh. He can never get into any real rhythm because he’s never consistently healthy and still needs a lot of in game reps to improve

That’s it, I’m skipping it class an taking a depression nap. Here I thought Poku was the secret ingredient we were missing.
Hold me fam. Now I’m only going to have 14 interesting players to watch this season.

I just want him to be healthy. I don’t expect him to be some sort of missing piece that will change our franchise but he has shown glimpses of greatness, and if he can get healthy, he could be a solid role player. I hate seeing headlines like this 🙁

Better now than later. Not the biggest believer in all the thin 7 footers but he seems like a good culture fit
