Maybe we’d have to throw in a couple second rounders but salaries match up and I think it’s a good trade, specially given the alleged Brogdon insatisfaction. We would lose a bit of shot creation but McConnel is a great playmaker and Hield is a sharp shooter. I’d do this trade easily

Guy. A trade must benefit both teams. Pacers already got rid of Brogdon cause they had Hali.
I like that a lot tbh.
Although one wonders about too much change.
But I do think that it’s a good trade in the sense that we get better players for their position.
Pritchard has the skills of a 2 in the body of a 1. Brogdon has the skills of a 1 in the body of a 2. Whereas Hield and McConnell are traditional size for their skills.
Also sidebar but the Garden would absolutely adore McConnell. And the crowd has always wanted an elite shooter like Hield.
This makes no sense for an Indy team that is on its way up and also getting rid of Malcolm lol.

Love the idea of Buddy, but we need PGs badly
A “PG core” of White/McConnell/Banton isn’t inspiring.
No we don’t need to be getting weaker at point guard and buddy is a liability defensively. I’m also not sure why the pacers are trying to reacquire brogdon in this scenario.
