[Old Man and The Three podcast](https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT86FWeQh/)had JJ, Evan Turner, and Andre Iguodala reminiscing on how dark the 76ers rebuild was for the players.
Chet commented his thoughts on their TikTok account.
I want to preface this by saying I love our front office. But did we not do the same to get Chet?
Evan alludes that Hinkie was more focused on future assets than current (tanking for Wiggins). Ironically, didn’t we also tank for Chet?
Obviously our rebuild was a lot faster and less damaging for payers, so I suppose that could be what Holmgren is referring to.
I don’t know.. I miss basketball, and spent way too much time thinking about this. 😂

Did you watch the interview? There’s a moment when Evan said he was depressed about his future with the 76ers and went to talk to Sam Hinkie — Sam brushed him off and said “yea i can spare 5 minutes.” Evan did not take that well. Iggy agreed he had a similar experience.
It’s way different in OKC. By all accounts, Presti treats every player with respect and an eye towards development. The 76ers were treating every player as an asset that could be bargained for. For the players, that is a huge difference.
