Damn that’s honestly crazy I couldn’t imagine if Dwyane or even Jimmy had demanded a trade to one specific team we would’ve acted like this

You can absolutely find a number a threads during any of our down periods from last season where almost everyone was saying that if Jimmy demanded a trade we would all accept it, even if it was to the Knicks for like RJ Barret, Evan Fournier and two picks. And we were all saying it because we were mad at our front office.

    Nephews.

Its that, or they are drinking too much of the Kool-Aid to acknowledge the situation at hand.

Unlike those clowns who are painting themselves as being victims and acting like they’re oppressed by Lillard, a lot of us on here would support a Jimmy trade demand bc we understand basketball and understand when our front office is ass. They’re just delusional morons crying. Like that second loser created a second Reddit account recently. Talk about terminally online typing some soft shit like that😂🤣

When Wade ended up leaving to Chicago, I told myself that even if it weren’t the bulls and let’s say it was to our biggest rivals (knicks, Philly, Celtics etc..) I’d still be happy for him cause he’s our GOAT. And if Jimmy decided to he wanted to be traded to any team of his choosing I’d support his decision cause after all he gave us some fantastic memorable seasons and we should do right by him. The Trail Trashes on the other hand, straight up horrible ass franchise.

Yeah let’s make Dame the bad guy for wanting out from an organization that blatantly lied to him about trying to put a contender around him and expected him to waste his career on a mediocre at best team going nowhere fast. If anything they should be pissed at Cronin for mishandling and lying to your franchise GOAT. It almost feels like it’s not even really about him wanting out, it’s about him wanting to go to Miami.

  6. SnuggleBear2

They lie. Once they talk about retiring his jersey when he retires they will forgive him.

  7. santana722

The problem is, Blazers fans have been looking at those KD and Gobert hauls and assuming that when Dame asked out, they’d basically get a full rebuild back. Since he had the audacity to ask for a specific team, they’re assuming that’s the reason the offer isn’t that good, ignoring that Dame is 33 on a fuckhuge contract, doesn’t play defense, and has never proven to elevate a team to the next level. So now the instant rebuild dream is dead, and they’re losing Dame but still stuck with their FO, so easier to blame Dame.

Portland fans are wild. They bitch, moan, and direct their anger everywhere (Dame, Pat,Heat fans) rather than hold that team accountable for not taking advantage of having a top NBA player for a decade. Then, rather than moving him at the best time to rebuild they are blaming the Heat for not offering a superstar package for a guy that’s at the tail end of his career making 60 million at 36.

Its wild. I was pissed at the Heat front office for not getting Jimmy help since 2020 and the team has a finals and an ECF appearance since then.

Dame gave them 10 years and wants a say so where he goes after that team has decided to call it quits and tank and they are all like “FU DAME!!”

I’ve seen that comment copypasted like a hundred times already lol

It’s crazy how their fans and FO are trying their HARDEST to send Dame to literally anywhere but his preferred destination 😂 Shit is ridiculous. Bro is 33 years old after spending 11 years being loyal to one team, and this is what he gets lmfao

Well anyways, if those bitchass FO wants to keep him or send him elsewhere, fine. I’m surely not gonna cry seeing Tyler and Jovic on my team. The truth is, we’ll always be a competitive franchise with Jimmy on the roster, and Blazers will always be a poverty franchise with or without Dame💀

  11. Gavster1221

Bunch of people in this sub would 100% act like this lol

Fanbases turn on players quick as hell. But me personally I would be sad but if my team did everything wrong with a player I would understand. Not like Dame is forcing his way out after 5 years. It been god damn 11 and he was still down to try to win but they chose youth.

    Blazer fans coping:

This is what an org built on failure looks like. It’s fans are a product of that mentality.

  14. vscxz384

How much you wanna bet, before the request their sub was all about getting dame help and that they were fine and would support him leaving to another team

  15. hdlothia22

There are openly anti lebron heat fans and you are saying you can’t imagine it?

  16. Sebeeschin

Idk people were pretty butthurt when Lebron left

  17. prince___dakkar

    ‘We’ would have.

    Fans are fans.

  18. Canes123456

They also killed him for being dishonest and hurting their 2021 free agency due to rumors of a trade request. So they vilify him for publicly demanding a trade and pick the destination, because it kills his trade value. But they also vilify him for he privately request a trade, and lying about the truth about the rumors so they can trade him for the max value. Then they go on to lying to him about competing and tank two years in a row.

  19. bird720

Jimmy could request a trade right now and my respect for him wouldn’t change, he’s given our franchise so much, even beyond just the on court performance of two finals appearances. The fact that blazers fans are willing to pretty much instantly disown and cast aside their franchise’s best player and someone who’s given them over a decade of his absolute best because he wants to go be competitive as he enters his mid 30s, is absolutely pathetic. Their whole organization really has a poverty mindset.

  20. Whitemike_23

“Decade of goodwill” lol wtf does that even mean? They wasted a decade of his talents by failing to build a real team around him

  21. twozeromm

I really hope for their fan bases stack, that when he eventually does get traded to whatever team it is. He comes out and talks about the truth, because I believe there has been a bunch of stuff happening behind the scenes that would change the Portland fans view on Dame.

  22. thamfgoat69

Mfs taking this shit too seriously. The blazers will always be a poverty franchise idk why they let their feelings get that tied up in that dumpster fire

  23. TheKingofPsych

Portland fans are more insufferable than I thought

  24. Nuclearsunburn

Don’t kid yourself, we would have acted like this
