Nikola Jokic will surpass LeFraud within 4 years. Nuggets will 3PEAT and Jokic will go down as the GOAT when its all said and done. Nuggets are the best organization they are just getting started! Its rarity to have the best player in the NBA playing in the best organization in the NBA. Jokic will go down as the GOAT its his destiny. Nuggets might win 5 chips in a row they will have no competition and remember Blue Arrow is that dude too!
Joker’s career arc is much more similar to MJ’s than any other “All Time Greats” imo. I think if the Nuggets could pull off a
3-Peat and Jokić wins another league MVP and the FMVP’s of those runs he would ENTER the conversation. If the Nuggets could pull off another Chip after the 3-Peat he would move past Lebron based on narrative….Giannis is in a similar position but only because of D. I believe Jokić is better than Giannis and that will start to become more evident as Giannis’s athleticism starts to decline in a coupla years…The 3-Peat is HUGE for this conversation to really happen, it kinda defines dominance.
Lebron starting the “Super Team” fad and not playing w Cleveland his whole career is a big black eye, especially in the GOAT conversation. So much so that he really shouldn’t even be involved in the GOAT conversation! Serbia and Jokić beating this new “Dream Team” would definitely be a major piece to his GOAT résumé.

The Nuggets and Jokić beating The Bucks and Giannis w Joker being clearly the best player in the series would be a HUGE notch in his GOAT argument!
Yes IF….. he wants it. He needs 2 more championships with finals MVP and regular season MVP. The issue is he doesn't want it nor care. Everyone keeps talking about how in his prime he will take even less shots (which he doesn't take enough already) and how he will take time off so he can play in the Olympics. Windows for greatness are small in the NBA and that goat window is even smaller. So yes he can….. but doubt he will.
Been thinkin this for a while now…MPJ is the best “ceiling raiser” maybe in the league based upon ability and fit w his team. Luckily for Mike, the Nuggets and the rest of us, Jokić is absolutely the most unselfish superstar the NBA has ever seen! I think Joker would be fine w allowing Mike to become the best version of himself at the cost of his own personal stats as long as it made the team the best version of themselves. In a perfect world for Joker, imo, both Mal and MPJ average 22+ pts/game on elite efficiency numbers during the reg season, and Jokić averages a 22 pt/3D, including say 11.5 assists/game w ridiculous efficiency. Then, come playoff time, w see Jokić scoring more while Mal and MPJ continue to be hyper efficient, and our beloved Nuggets become as dominant of a TEAM as we have maybe ever seen! And no, I have not forgotten AG! AG in this scenario, just continues to be who he is, the defensive glue that holds it all together! Go Nuggets!!

I think if you're Denver you definitely want Porter to be a 20-25 PPG scorer on high efficiency kind of guy, but you want to mold him toward doing it the right way (like the way Jokic and Murray play). So it's a balance between giving him a bigger role, playing Nuggets brand basketball, and letting him be free to play his game.
