  1. The illegal screens make it impossible if the refs don’t call them

  2. CalmResearch3132

Make him go left, avoid the illegal screens. Have your team yell at the refs to call carries and the illegal screens..

    That’s not hard

  3. I couldn’t blame him for being awful on offense that entire series because he helped hold Curry to under 27ppg, hopefully this season he comes back with a nice corner 3 and everything is great

Dudes in here still crying, ‘iLleGaL sCreEnS’ 4 chips later (5th incoming btw) 😭

  5. xerxesthagreat

the idea of a theo pinson podcast is hilarious ngl

  6. KingNephew

His efficiency/performance tanked a ton that series compared to his play in the regular season and vs the Kings round 1.

Every guard on a contending team needs to be pushing their cardio to max levels

I dont get it, his role is literally to guard Steph if he gets a reb or scores it becomes bonus..

If dlo had to chase Steph and produce on offense i will understand why hes tired but him saying this just means he isnt well conditioned, since his job is to only play defense.

Btw : he wasnt 24/7 on Steph Schröder and Ad-when switched had him alot.

  9. Sometimes when i play ball with my friends I always hate having to chase them now imagine having to do while playing full court and the mf wont stop moving. I would love to see Steph fitness stats vs a soccer player

If theres one thing this reddit loves its when other players talk about steph

  11. “that’s what people don’t realize” like steph doesn’t have 4 rings and a rock solid reputation for having the best endurance in the game. who is listening to this deep cut podcast that doesn’t realize that?

  12. SandyMandy17

Russ locked his ass up AND outscored him the whole warriors WCF series in 2015-2016

    Man I wish KD stayed.

These dudes don’t think people recognize that it’s hard to guard Steph? 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ we gotta limit these podcasts man, everyone and their momma got a podcast stating the most basical stuff and talk like they discovered fire. “People don’t realize..” yes. Yes they do.

  14. thevision24

I feel like the most used phrase on basketball podcasts is “that’s what people don’t realize”.

  15. ChannelNeo

It’s even tougher for a non guard to have to hound Steph too.

  16. ConceptNo1055

Imagine the “physical” 90s bigs switching in the PnR guarding Steph.

  17. boringexplanation

Davion had similar comments on guarding Steph during playoffs- similar offensive results as well.

  18. doctor_of_drugs

Not sure how many people in this sub noticed during our series, but Davion Mitchell did an amazing job guarding Steph.

Steph is insanely good. Which imo, gives Mitchell even more credit.

  19. Most conditioned athlete ever……we ran like 3 miles that night

  20. Nilez3104

Oh nah we know bro trust me 😂😭 it’s why ya stock went up

  21. Go_Habs_Go31

Fred VanVleet and Kyle Lowry don’t get neatly enough credit for being tasked with guarding Steph during the 2019 finals & doing a pretty good job.
