Sounds like the Dame Era is almost coming to an end and while it is bittersweet…we won the lottery (kind of) and Scoot Henderson fell to us. This team will be in good hands with this kid and I can’t wait to see what he does knowing this is HIS team now. I’m not trying to put that much pressure on him, but rarely do teams lose one superstar and immediately find his replacement both on and off the court.

Current ceiling is Russel Westbrook, but if he can develop a reliable 3 point shot — who knows.
I still can’t believe the Hornets didn’t take him.
His floor is so ridiculously high, and his ceiling is even higher. We could be looking at prime Derick Rose in a few years.
We do? Neat.
Well, I think people need to not put unrealistic expectations on this dude.
I’d definitely hope for some Kyrie/Westbrook hybrid but I wouldn’t pretend he’s capable of matching Dame the past few years.
Hopefully that means Sharpe and Scoot will compliment one another and Portland isn’t foolish enough to miss out on some good prospect before Sharpe and Scoot get too good.
By that, Scoot is willing to drive and attack when Sharpe is passive and Sharpe doing the heavy hitting/4th quarter stuff from anywhere on the court when it matters. Meanwhile, Portland is able to snatch up one more guy at the 3/4 who can score.
