The pick comp is the only thing I’m really not sure about. The sun’s might not get the pick from Brooklyn and hopefully we’d get more picks or swaps from Miami but I’m doubtful we would. It also depends on if the nets front office believes that Ben Simmons can be what he was in Philly cause he’s being treated as a salary dump in this trade but if the Nets believe he can come back and contribute they probably wouldn’t give him up like this. Also the 24 and 26 picks from Miami are swaps because of the Stepien rule if it wasn’t clear.

I would love that, but the Nets have said they don’t want to let Simmons go.

Suns aren’t giving up a pick to move Ayton.

I think this is the most sensible I’ve seen. I do believe the Blazers have nothing to lose by taking on Ben Simmons for 2 years and I personally would love to see him do well. When he’s good, he’s really really good. I think Nurk would like to leave and that PHX is the best destination for him. I think Ayton would do better here.
Scoot, Ant, Simmons (if he can play), Grant, Ayton.
Bench scoring (and maybe shot creation?) Shaedon
Bench defense Matisse
Bench bodies Nassir, Jabari,
Backup C Moses Brown
Developmental Murray, Jaquez, Jovic, Badji, Rupert, etc.
Not a terrible team, a fringe playoff team. Maybe a 40 win team. Probably a fun and interesting team with a lot of potential for growth. If Simmons is able to play.
