I get the feeling that he isn’t part of the long term plan

If he stays with the team I think people may be surprised with how much he plays next year. He is a pretty ideal guy to have playing with a young team that in theory will have 3 young guys who need plenty of touches as scoring options in Johnson, vassel, and Vic
He is a great , smart utility wing. He isn’t really elite at anything but he can have his moments as a shooter, makes smart passes, and is a very intelligent defender even if he doesn’t have the burst to be truly a difference maker on that end.
Most importantly he is a low maintenance guy who is going to be happy to fill in the gaps around the younger more talented prospects. An underrated pickup.

The Spurs have had their eye on him for years. Cedi stats aren’t eye popping or anything like that, but he seems like a good locker room guy that’s pretty solid on the court. Definitely a good complimentary piece that can act as a good veteran presence on a young roster

What I like about Cedi is he at least attended our open gym mini camps unlike Cam Payne and Reggie Bullock. I would prefer to keep him over those other guys.
