Idk… If Mitchell couldn’t get the Cavs out the first round, why would he get us out the first round?

Money-wise, I’d say it’d be a tough fit. Claxton is expected to have his payday, CamJ just got paid, this would for sure mean no Spencer extension and even argue that Ben would be involved/gone.
I know Spida is an explosive player and he’s great, but assuming Ben is back to his prime days, I’d rather have a non-shooting 6’11” PG that can basically help you in every facet of the game (except shooting) than an undersized 2 guard that can get you 40 on a given night, but only gives defense when he’s locked in.
Tough though. I like Donovan a lot.

Dono is honestly my top top top selection of a star level guy we could go after.
Obviously Giannis, or Luka or something is the best but it’s not realistic at all.
Dono is not realistic CURRENTLY but could be within the next year. Just fits the roster really well, and age timeline is great. Plus if Simmons is actually good again, then it really gets interesting!

If I’m not mistaken you can’t have him and Ben on the same team due to Designated Rookie extension rule correct?
Also don’t they not like eachother?

Also if you’re gonna target a star to chase, I need him to be dominant on both ends. Mitchell is an insane offensive talent but gets exposed on defense.
