  1. That’s fair. His strengths are what makes him unique, and there’s no reason to think he won’t improve on his weaknesses.

Not saying he’ll be an elite 3pt threat, but I have faith he can get to a respectable level based on his position and role.

  2. Genuine question. Can players with that profile become lead / #1 options on contending teams?

Reading that, I just see a versatile defender who can also distribute the ball. This doesn’t seem like the profile of a player that can lead a team as a scoring threat.

Not beating the Draymond allegations with these numbers lol

  4. I was saying this last season that Scottie is actually an above average defender. It’s just he’s on the same team as OG who is an elite defender so everyone looks bad when compared him.

Look it up yourself, it says 0.26 for O-LEBRON, value for 100 offensive possessions, -1.97 would be bust level. 0.26 isn’t great but it’s far from the -1.97 (which would imply that he is horrficially inefficient with the basketball.)

Even at 0.26 he’s next to Kevon Looney, THT, Skylar Mays, Mikal Bridges, Boban, and Lu Dort, this stat is not especially kind to him. That isn’t ideal company lol

The concern is the movement. For a player who was drafted with the calling card of being a hustle and effort player, being one of the lowest in the league in movement is rough
