The 2019-20 Oklahoma City Thunder are one of my favorite teams of all time. Led by Chris Paul, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Dennis Schroder, Danilo Gallinari, Lu Dort, and Steven Adams, the Thunder surpassed all expectations and became one of the league’s best stories. Although they didn’t win a title, it was a team worth remembering.

I would love to see a study done on the bubble and 1st/2nd year players production and win shares/win contrabutions compared to a regular season with regular home/away games.
Because i noticed or i think i did, rookies and soph's seemed more consistent that year and im guessing its from no true away games.
As a thunder fan I remember thinking that we weren’t going to make it that far but boy was I wrong, we damn near beat that great rockets team with one of the best players in the league

I remember complaining to my ex about an aging CP3 and she kept telling me I was being too mean and that he's not that bad. He really shut me up that season

I'm a Jazz fan, so trust me I say this with absolutely zero bias. The Thunder season is gonna be FUN AS FUCK this year. This year is gonna be massively fun for you OKC fans, and to be honest, I'm here for it. I just hope the Jazz can have an equal or "close" to as fun of a season to the OKC Thunder. But to be honest, I think the OKC Thunder might be a top 4 seed, and I just don't see my Jazz doin that. I hope I'm wrong about the latter, but I'm relatively certain about my OKC Thunder pick of top 4.

Great video Cone! This was my favorite Thunder team. I loved all the video highlights, you did a great job of showing the ups & downs of that season. Gallo's contribution is often overlooked. Schroeder deserved 6th Man of Yr(& the Schroeder trade by Sam is often overlooked as one of his best). CP3 was the greatest clutch player I ever saw. He was so automatic in the 4th qtr of close games, it was not to be believed. And ofc SGA & Dort… As fun as this team was, I was sickened by the Corporate-Political propaganda of the Covid era. The stupid jerseys w/out the players names. The anti-White hatred that was evident in the messaging. Ya' know the 'evil' White ppl who make it possible for these stars to make 40 mil a yr, instead of playing for bragging rights in Rucker Park… But on the other side you had the Lu Dort story who was making very little $(relatively speaking) and showed the hustle, dedication & storybook season that encapsulates why we all love the NBA. I so badly wanted to beat Harden & Russ with a Thunder team that Presti seemeingly put together from the Land of broken Toys.

This season will always be CP3s greatest basketball achievement in my eyes. No championship in his late 30s could ever mean more than pushing that OKC team into the playoffs
Best thing about your pod is you know the team i quit watching the second I can tell if someone is borrowing from those that actually know and watch the team

I loved that season for the Thunder. The bubble season was so fun to watch. I'm glad you started your channel ThreeCone.
