The thing with the raptors is this, the second you get on the team, you get to be part of Drake's crew, because he's an ambassador for the Raptors. That in itself is enticing, if we start actually winning? with the amount of Canadian superstars in the league? Toronto bout to be the hot spot.
HELL you can even look at the people who have been in Toronto in the Summer, Jimmy Butler's ass has been in Toronto for more than half the summer, Lebron, Fred, and other superstars were around for Carabana and we got TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) where all the movie stars come out for a week, ALL the singers and rappers IF they ever go on a North America or World Tour? They have ATLEAST one show in Toronto, if not multiple.
Outside of Drake, we got the Weekend, Shawn Mendes, Kevin Hart, and others hanging around the city atleast a couple weeks of the summer, a couple months in the year, ALOT of stars come back home to train in the summer too, so you will have enough players to scrimmage with and practice with. All we gotta do is start making it to the 2nd, 3rd round of the Playoffs like we used to before we got Kawhi and it gonna be "X Canadian superstar wants to come home to play for his hometown team that he grew up rooting for." and it may be multiple guys at the same time
I am so excited for The season this summer was loooong

Chris and some what Precious were the bench and the other players were spot players for Nick. With more motion offense those 2 can shine .
Exactly my thouughts: there is SO MUCH competition.
Of necessity, at least one man doesn't make it out of training camp. People say we're "wing heavy and guard light", but when you actually count up players, the guard position is DEEPLY COMPETITIVE. GT Jr. is HOT in Rico Runs so who gets the starting job, him or Shroeder? Or Scottie (allowing shooters like Otto Porter or Grady Dick some run)? Flynn and Dowtin (both looking very sharp) and the two-ways all figure in as well.
Still, the exciting part is what the high-flying wings are capable of, now with another year of experience and concentrated development, as you so aptly explain, Chev.
I feel like its a pretty hard decision to make…. but i think dennis needs to start.. our starters will overwhelmingly benefit from schroders vision and ability to read the play and make the appropriate choices with the ball…we should see much less iso action. I see our second unit being our "shooters" i see our starting 5 punishing teams inside the arc. Really hoping otto can come back and make a difference as well. Tbh im super excited to see what mcdaniels will do for us…. hes the type that, if given the chance he could straight up steal someones spot… so your right… precious and boucher best step up.
I have great hope for this Raptors team why these are young men are always on social media and if they have ears they understand that other NBA are disrespecting their growth. Calling them soft and laughing at us dame laughing at Dennis, Nick Nurse telling Masai good luck with those guys. If this team hear 👂 all that and not come to a unified team to change the narrative of the white noise then these boys aren’t real men that carry revengeful mindset. They have to buy in and say coach we got this.

#NBAChev Yup excited fro October.. I love the competition of the team… PG competition, minutes competition from FVV leaving, Pascal, OG, Scottie minutes cut.. Bench production competition… I have tickets to pre-season Toronto games… Love it love it..

I see Boucher's playing time to be less going forward, If there are any takers I don't see him being a part of the team going forward. If we can package him and another cheap piece for a rotational guard, do it yesterday.
I just hope those two don't fancy themselves as 3 point shooters. Just crash the boards, grab rebounds and score in the paint.
Those guy had it easy last year competing against what?? Hermangomez.. and they still dropped the ball. Thad had to save their ass which looked terrible. If they cant outperform THAD at 57, they are gone by trade deadline. Koloko has a longer leash being 2nd year. Malakai needs to become our 2019 Bench Fred. The IQ on all them needs to grow, its not a skill thing.
