> The Toronto Raptors have convinced numerous teams around the league that their interest in trading for Lillard is genuine.
> The uncertainty at this point stems more from gauging Toronto’s true willingness to push all the way forward with its Lillard pursuit when it’s believed that the All-Star guard, behind the scenes, remains so resistant to the idea of becoming a Raptor.

Two options:
– we are looking to get in on the cheap (Dick plus filler)
– we want our conference rivals to overpay and clear their assets to help pave Scottie’s way to the finals in a few years
Why they telling other teams. Just make the trade or shut up
I’m convinced reporters have been wrong for 2 offseasons on what Toronto is doing, so I’ll continue to ignore reports like this.
FAREWELL SCOTTIE B AND SIAKAM
Looks like another season with your main players in trade talks the whole year
As long as only one of the current starters is being traded (plus whatever picks/filler is required), I’m in. Let’s fucking go.
Do I think Dame will be a star for all 4 remaining years? Absolutely not. But give me at least 2 years where the Raptors are in the top 3 conversation in the East and a team that is expected to make the Conference Finals. The current roster gives me almost nothing to be excited about.
With a good front office, rebuilds can happen very quickly in the NBA. If a teardown/rebuild has to happen in 3-4 years, so be it.
Goodbye Scottie
Don’t really see how we could pull this off with it making sense. Also don’t really see what our plan is otherwise, so fuck it I’m in
Oh this is actually real, still not going to get him and even if we do he’s not gonna play fuck it
