This just happened on NBA Today on ESPN. Marc J Spears, noted reporter for being close to Damian Lillard, just said “All is quiet on the Miami front. Interest from Chicago is waning. The hottest name right now is the Toronto Raptors. Talked to two high ranking team executives that said Toronto is the front-runner for [Damian Lillard].”

Spears says Lillard WILL show up and he WILL play for Toronto if he is traded there.

If Masai lands Dame, I hope he calls him and says ā€œWelcome toā€¦ Jurassic Parkā€ *cue music*

So obviously we all want Scottie. If that doesn’t happen and it’s OG and parts, do we try to reroute OG for more picks and prospects? At 26 it doesn’t seem like Anunoby makes sense for a rebuild.

Hey if OG assures the Blazers he will resign with them then that sounds like the better trade for Portland.

IF Portland does get OG when he is up for the new contract would the Blazers have the ability to match any other offer?

Arenā€™t Spears and dame close? If so..this is telling for sure.

Assuming we can’t get Barnes, what is everyone’s thoughts on getting OG as a potential rental? I mean I’d love that dude locked up, arguably just as good a fit here long term as Barnes

I was messing with trade machine, and maybe something like this could work where we get Ayton, OG, Dick, and some FRP? https://imgur.com/a/fI56W2v

  6. If Portland gets OG they can probably extend him and give him the expanded role he wants. And he just turned 26, so still young enough to fit long term.
