5 rings is absurd and not given enough credit. When guys like Steph and Bron “only” have 4 it sheds some light to it. When Giannis or Jokic won 1, it instantly gave them all-time status, let alone 2, 3, 4 or 5

Bron no better than KD tbh, but Stanleys ain’t ready for that conversation

imagine, kobe calling up tmac or vince Carter and asking them to team up to beat Tim Duncan or the Rasheed Wallace led pistons…only lebron can jump from 1 team to the next and create super teams and still have the narrative behind him that gsw was stacked. 3-9 in the finals is a major L.

So they all teamed up to beat Kobe.

I hope they told Kobe that, he would’ve taken it as the ultimate compliment. Fucking Thanos beating down on a few avengers.

  5. They just keep adding stories yr after yr.

  6. Can’t wait for the next reddit thread to point out that Kobe won 3 rings as a second option, talk about his “inefficiency”, and then say he’s a fringe top 10 player, and then the thread after that to talk about how he was a two-way player and is clearly top five, and so on so on so on…

These debates would be more fun if the we didn’t start and stop them repeatedly in different threads.

people dump on draymond for *supposedly* calling KD but Wade admits to calling Bron to team up and get a ring.

I don’t think either is bad or good but I just hope we can recognize the double standard

“I know, ill convince a whole generation that rings don’t matter”
