Watching the Blazers has made this Blazer analyst a little delusional on what Dame brings to a team right now.
Dame is not KD going to the Warriors that beat him the season prior and he is NOT Kyrie leaving Cleveland trying to screw over LBJ, Leaving Boston for no reason, screwing up the Nets with a dream team that failed. James Harden got what he wanted multiple times by crying and leaving his other teams to get a better situation.- Dame deserves to go where he wants to go which is MIAMI because they are a professional winning organization that continues to succeed and exceed expectations! KL left San Antonio for multiple reasons and even though he brought a Championship to the Spurs and the Raptors I can guarantee his toxicity is what had him sent to Canada in the first place. Even getting what he wanted to go home to LA ended up not working (yet)

If you can give up Scottie while keeping OG, Siakam, Gary, Jacob, Dennis, Dick, Koloko because with Dame all those guys get better and all of a sudden toronto has a roster that can win the East.
Hey Sean, even if the raptors trade for Dame. Do you think Scottie can ever reach his maximum potential in a front court with pascal and Jakob? I want to be positive but it just feels like unless you get a floor spacing center or use either pascal or Scottie at center, that those two operate too much in the same spots although they do different things.
A package of OG, Dick, Boucher, Flynn, and a first(even a swap if need be) might be the best Portland can do at this point. The pressure is on the Blazers more than anyone as they surely don't want to drag this out into the preseason. Would hate for Raps to lose Gradey and OG but want this done as it would put attention on the Raps immediately and Stephen Smith and some of the others that hate the Raps can complain😊
