The trade is a TBD incomplete for Portland until there’s a resolution on where Jrue Holiday eventually goes.

He’s on such a big contract unless you’re giving Portland cj, which I wouldn’t at this point and I don’t think Portland would want him either as they’d still be in the same situation as with jrue, we’d have to hope for a buyout and then he’d have to be alright taking a massive pay cut and coming off the bench (which I think is perfect for us)
I know it won’t happen but Jrue is clearly a better player and better fit for the Pels than CJ.
Supposedly Portland just wants picks. I’d gladly do that to get Jrue back in NOLA. If we really want to be serious about contending, we gotta get past the luxury tax discomfort.
Dont care wether it makes sense, dont care what it would cost just bring the 🐐 home

As much as I loved Jrue and the class he carried with him, he was never a leader. He played hard and always showed up for the team but he never had a voice, and if playoffs and championship were guaranteed, I would say pick up Jrue.
But right now, we should just concentrate on making it to the next step and bringing Jrue over doesn’t move us closer to that goal.
my personal think that cj has better fit to pels cuz pel’s shooting ability
