  1. Youre on to something with how you feel about Phil Jackson.

If you want further proof look up the Phil Jackson-J.R. Rider story. Keyword: disrespect.

  2. How do spurs fans hate pop he’s a great coach they gonna hate it when he retires

  3. I wonder who the future Damian Lillard is to pair up with Victor Wembanyama is going to be as the real Damian Lillard is heading to Milwaukee to pair up with Giannis Antetokounmpo.

  4. Spurs should concentrate on getting the future Damian Lillard for Victor Wembanyama, just like how the Bucks brought Damian Lillard to Milwaukee for Giannis Antetokounmpo.

  5. Giannis Antetokounmpo x Damian Lillard

Victor Wembanyama x future Damian Lillard?

However, the question is, who will the future Damian Lillard be for the Spurs and Victor Wembanyama?

  6. Victor Wembanyama now needs motivation to play as well as possible because Scoot Henderson's odds of winning ROTY have increased.

  7. Thanks for the props my dude! Keep killing it on your channel! It has been awesome seeing how much it has exploded over the last couple of years!

  8. I totally agree, Pop may be the greatest coach who has coached in this league. Evidence, look at all the former players who moved on from the Spurs and became a better player, minus Stephen Jackson. He has plenty of credentials to back up his greatest. Over the years Pop has changed and improved, his basic fundamentals of coaching may still be the same in some ways, but he definitely grown and alter his mindset as the basketball game as changed over the years. Vote for Pop, Presidency, lol.

  9. I love this. On the court coaching only, yea its arguable whose better Pop or Phil but when it comes to overall off the court (personal lives and just being a better person) AND on the court coaching, Pop is the G.O.A.T and its not even close.

  10. My understanding is that Coach Popovich is especially good at connecting with his players because he genuinely cares about them and not just their production, and it shows. Players appreciate that. He's demanding, but it's with a good intention: the players' livelihoods and success, their glory instead of his.

The equivalents of Gregg Popovich in the everyday work world are similarly great leaders.

At the start of the 1999-2000 NBA season then-new Lakers Coach Phil Jackson disparaged the Spurs '99 title as deserving an asterisk for having come after a lockout-shortened regular season and the Spurs coaching staff as the "Simulation Crew" because in his words they had "never played the game at the NBA level."

Phil's dissing the Spurs then might have been to allay any fears the Lakers squad might have had about playing against the Spurs after losing to them 4-0 in the '99 NBA Western Conference finals and to plant doubt in the minds of Spurs players: "What if Phil's right and our title was gilded?" He was known for playing head games.

The 1998-1999, 1999-2000 and 2000-2001 Lakers squads actually had more individual talent and youth than did the Spurs squads of those seasons. However, the Spurs had beaten the Lakers in the '99 Western Conference finals with team ball and stifling defense. It wasn't a particularly athletic or high-scoring Spurs team.

The 1998-1999 Lakers had more youth and individual talent than the Spurs squad it faced. However, that Spurs squad had better team defense, meat-grinding defense.

  11. If someone’s talking shit about Pop it’s because they’re haters or don’t like that he talks about politics and as someone born and raised in the 210 I can appreciate when someone speaks up for the concerns for the majority of the city he’s employed in. 2 people in 25 years sounds like a great track record to me.
