That tracks with the Blazers about 10 days ago beginning to really pivot away from Miami and get aggressive in talks around the league with Dame. Wonder how much contact Goodwin had with Portland.
It also really does tell you how committed both parties were to make a deal happen…this was a separation that needed to happen. For all the talk from both sides about being professional, at the end of the day, this was a partnership that had run its course.

Dame should be so happy right now, perfect place for him. They lost last year early so he cant really be accused of the bandwagon superteam move, which i think is important to him. He gets to play with Giannis, enough said. The rest of the team is quite good to if they hold up. Very exciting team, as a fan of an eastern conference team im scared.
