Jason Timpf reacts to Damian Lillard being traded to the Milwaukee Bucks in a three-team deal involving the Phoenix Suns, which sends Jrue Holiday, DeAndre Ayton, and others to Portland. Portland elects NOT to send Dame to his preferred destination of Miami, and instead he will now team up with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton in Milwaukee to try and get the Bucks another NBA Championship.

Ayton didn't want to be here. His effort level was never where it needed to be. He is every big as Jokic and Giannis, and pretty much just as athletic.
But you saw him in the playoffs, right? Just giving up on plays. Not going for rebounds. Has 0 fire in his gut. You can say Jusuf is worse, but honestly that's not the case. The Suns got rid of a cancer.
Bucks just seem crazy man. Dame/Giannis/Middleton/Lopez is insane, Portis is a better 6th man than anyone on the Nuggets. They still have Connaughton and Crowder who have shown they can play valuable minutes too, and Beauchamp seems like a solid prospect. Never know whats gonna happen with Beasley's shooting & old man Goran, but Bucks might be my title favorites now.

This isn't going to be the World beater that everyone thinks. Everyone knows Middleton will miss half the year or playoffs, Dame isn't the defender Jrue was, and teams have shown the ability to wall Giannis off in the playoffs. This will be a great regular season team though no doubt.
The Bucks did for Giannis what Dame wanted Portland to do for him. The irony.
