Pat Riley & Heat did not mess up Dame deal. Joe Cronin clearly had no intentions of talking to Miami

The Hoch and Crowder Show continue to react to the Damian Lillard trade with the Bucks and get clear evidence from Lillard’s agent that the Miami Heat did everything they could to make a trade happen but the Blazers GM had no intentions of making a trade with Miami work.

  1. Honestly… the only thing worth anything valuable to the Blazers was … Cronin stuck it to Riley… whatever that's worth to the little guy.. dudes at the Ringer get a giggle… Woj pretends he's still an insider… and Lillard gets off Blazers books… thats it…. if im the HEAT and Cronin calls to trade Holiday… i'd tell Cronin to ram Holiday up his own ass!

  2. I believe the league stepped in and quietly told portland anywhere but miami the league hates miami so does national media

  3. Then Miami should have leaked that info to the press weeks ago when it happened. Why is Miami trying to be the nice person here when anybody treats them like they are bad anyway and try to screw them however they can?! The "good guys always lose" phrase still stands.

  4. Lets all be real. Sun's and Bucks got better. Portland in rebuild got a centre who is over paid and has hit his ceiling. Jrue holiday who is already talking about retirement . Greyson allen and some other dude and a 1st in 2029.

Miami should just be fine with it. Dame is great and will be good for a year or 2 but hes massivly overpaid in year 3 and 4 etc.

Im glad miami didnt overpay. They didnt get dame bucks got him for free nearly.

  5. How is it not the heat fo fault? Beal, Donovan, Harden, Kyrie, and now Dame. That’s at least 5 players that the Heat didn’t get. There’s no way all those teams just had “no intention” of dealing with long with the Heat
