    “Until next time”

So he’s coming back, right? 🥲

  2. bigbobo33

I just have sand in my eye. Yeah that’s it, I’m not crying just have some sand in there.

  3. Oh man, this one hurts.

The FO doesn’t do this unless they think the choice is realistically Jrue or Giannis – just have to keep repeating that to myself.

But man, there goes an *all-time* Milwaukee Buck.

Hopefully we just got another one.

You will be missed. Always a Buck and always will be a part of my fondest memories of this team

Jrue is gonna get a massive standing ovation when he comes back. Forever one of my favorite Bucks. THANK YOU JRUE

  6. Fuck man I was so critical of him the past few playoffs, but it just hits hard now. I think it’s the right move but man it hurts

  7. Round of applause for Jrue 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

The missing piece that brought a championship to the Bucks, provided one of the most memorable plays in francise history, and was a amazing leader on and off the court.

Sucks it has to end this way but like everyone says it’s business, we have to make moves that’s better our chances to win or in five years we’re going to be scratching our heads saying “how did Giannis only win one??”

Man I’ve been going so back and forth on this. On one hand I’m so sad to be losing an amazing human being and the definition of a Buck, but on the other hand how the hell do you say no to Dame?

Apparently Horst tried as hard as possible and explored every avenue to not include Jrue in the trade, and it wasn’t an easy decision for him at all. I’m sure Jrue is hurting real bad right now, and it’s not much, but there’s that at least.

  9. arrange a buy out and reunite with the bucks, then we’ll just push money under the table to jrue.

    who says no?

True class. Great player and an even better person! He will be missed🥲thanks for the memories!

God I love Jrue so much, an incredible player and an even better man. You’ve got the best guard mentor you could ask for for Shaedon and Scoot both character-wise and obviously on defense Blazers. Let him leave a mark before cashing in for picks.

Man i really hope he comes back and retires a buck. What a great dude

  13. Our FO is ruthless (ina a good way). Players better show up or they’ll get traded

  14. iHeartArtHoes

One of the greatest Bucks of all time, no doubt. Without Jrue there’s no Championship
    Until next time, king 🫡

Honestly….I am pretty emotional over losing Jrue. He’s such a great human and defender. I understand his caliber as a player is a huge part of why we were able to acquire Dame, but the rationalizations don’t make me feel better. Then, add on his recent quotes about being a Buck for life and loving Milwaukee, and it’s twisting the dagger. I honestly don’t know that much about Dame as I focus more on the Eastern conference, but he definitely has some big shoes to fill.

Wait…when was he in my home? Sneaky, sneaky. Well played, Jrue.

  17. PrudentAlps8736

Can’t thank you enough for all you’ve done for Milwaukee both on and off the court; you will be greatly missed.

  18. Very sad to see him go. Such a likeable person. Hope it doesn’t affect locker room chemistry.

  19. Particle_Thrower

The more this sinks in, the more it hurts.

    Thanks for everything, Jrue!

  20. FrodoBagHodler

I love you forever, I like you for always, as long as I’m living the Jrueth you shall be.

  21. Equivalent-Land4284

forreal though was sending Middleton instead of Jrue never an option?

  22. Jrue was one of my favorite players even before he came here. Wishing him nothing but the best and I’ll be cheering for him on and off the court for whatever is next.

“Forever be champions together”…that got me in the feels. Thank you, Jrue!

“We will forever be champions together”

Goddamn right. This man set the stage for the greatest moments in my lifetime of sports fandom. Always going to remember Jrue.

  24. JMisGeography

Jrue’s belovedness to seasons in town ratio might be higher than any athlete of all time. And completely deserved. I’m gonna miss that champion.

This reminds me of Russ’s farewell when he departed from OKC. Y’all have had a real one. Hope he finds his way back to y’all and retires a Buck.

  26. Johnny_mundo

Class act. Maybe the classiest. Thank you for everything Jrue.
