   I agree with you bornready, save our assets for a big fish…But you gotta admit it was almost comical how many times the pacers brought up Jrue Holidays name last season and in exit interviews about him being so underrated and how he’s the perfect prototypical 2 way guard. It would not surprise me one bit if they decide to go out and get him.

   If we trade for Jrue, be a great 6th man off the bench that will get starters minutes. Also, if we would want to resign him later, he might be interested in staying in Indiana since he is older and probably get him at a cheaper price once his contract is up and his wife is from here. Be Home Sweet Home for her. If we do trade for Jrue, we don’t use Buddy, we use maybe a package of our younger talent that we won’t resign such as Aaron Nesmith, Andrew Nembhard, or Isiah Jackson. We’ll resign Mathurin, Walker, and Shepperd before those three. If we can get Ingram and Holiday in a separate trades, I would take that all day long. That way you help both the future and right now.
