NO!!! As a Bucks fan, Jrue was my favorite player and I'm extremely sad to see him go. Just a terrific teammate and one heck of a player. The Bucks may miss him this year and his next team will certainly be better with him on it.
The Bulls saving grace is the Bears are dominating terrible Chicago news.
The problem is making the money work. I put together a package but it's a lot.
To Portland- Pat, Zo, Terry, Carlik Jones, Portland's pick and a pick swap in 27.
In order to make the money work Zo has to be included. Portland's not gonna take that contract without a sweetener. That's what the swap is for. So, mainly the package is about P-Will and the picks with the rest being filler.
Caruso is a good fit for Portland because it's clear that he elevates the defense of others on his team. Him coaching Scoot, Sharpe and Simons on how to be good defenders and with his high IQ would be great for them, they get that Vet to coach the young guys whitout having to pay star money… But I wouldn't trade Caruso. Jevon Carter has shown he can put up similar production to that of Jrue, and he's 30 million dollars cheaper.
