Jake Fischer mentions that, in the event Jrue Holiday is traded to Boston, Malcolm Brogdon and Payton Pritchard are two of the salaries that would be going to Portland. And that Portland has a vested interest in the young guard.

what is with nba teams always wanting hometown players
I feel like this trade is going to happen for us.
Hoping that we don’t shatter our rotation too much. Obviously in playoffs all you need is a strong 8 but getting to playoffs injury free with the players we have might be troublesome if our rotation is not as deep.
In the event Pritchard heads to Portland, I’d guess Brogdon to a 3rd team. Maybe something like:
* Celtics get Jrue
* Spurs get Brogdon and a Boston 1st round pick
* Blazers get Keldon Johnson, Robert Williams, and Payton Pritchard
That’d leave us with 2 roster spots to fill, either with minimum contracts or the Grant TPE.
So Brogdon, PP? Need a third team then for salary matching purposes right? Or are we just trading the whole bench?
John Hollinger mentioned that the Cs in theory could send out Brogdon, Hauser, Kornet, and Sign and Trade Blake which they can do for $3.2M. Why does Blake agree? Free money. Whoever gets him cuts him right away and he walks away with that money and can also join another team if he wishes.
dear lord please make al/pp/mb for Jrue happen.
Payton Pritchard will be the starting PG in portland by Christmas
I don’t think Jake has an understanding of what “vested interest” means.
We then trade holiday to the Griz for Smart. Make it so
Bismack is probs a lil cooked but in theory he adds rim protection I see brad grabbing him if we make a move
Fucking savages keep wanting our PP…
