  1. "Massive risk, what else is new?" is the Suns under Mat Ishbia. If they flame out during these next couple playoff runs, that'll be on their tombstone.
That being said, they were able to move off of Ayton's contract as well as add some additional bench reinforcements. We shall see.

  2. This will all go incredibly well or horribly wrong. There really isn’t a middle ground because the future is mortgaged so hard.

  3. as a Blazer fan… good luck suns fans, Nurk is quite possibly the most frustrating player I've ever watched on tv and live. He is so inconsistent its almost laughable. He's always been a solid rebounder, hes good in the PnR, obviously hes not the same player he was before the injury but when hes good, hes a great 5 to have on your team. But he has about 10-12 bad games before he has 1-2 great games. I want and HOPE this guy can figure it out but he is just not confident whatsoever anymore.

  4. In hindsight, the Suns needed to keep Jock Landale as a backup center. He gave quality minutes in the playoffs, and Nurkic's injury risks would be easier to face with Landale available to pick up those minutes.

  5. Eubanks is a good player. Don’t think there would be much of a drop off if he needed to start

  6. SAYING IT WAS A SWAP 😢IS NOT THE CORRECT TERMINOLOGY ITS WAS A HIGE 10 PLAYER TRADE NOT A PLAYER FOR PLAYER SWAP

  7. BOL BOL IS ESSENTIALLY KEVIN DURANT AND TALLER I THINK ITS THE BLACKNESS YOU DONT LIKE AND THE POTENTIAL OF BOL BOL IS UNMATCHED

  8. Although they lose Ayton, I think them getting Nasir Little and Grayson Allen are good pickups for the suns but they still need defense on their team. Now their defense is cooked ngl

  9. They should have tried to keep Ayton and play him to at least boost his trade value before trading him away. Moreover, the Suns were willing to flip Ayton for Richaun Holmes and Tim Hardaway Junior, per ESPN's Tim McMahon.

  10. Ayton has never been a “Superstar”, but I’m taking him any day of the week over Nurkic. He has been injury prone for so long so why would the Suns even do this trade? Yes Ayton had a big contract, but they could get way more. Nurkic averages 50 games / season for his NBA career! Good luck to KD, Booker and the rest of the Suns!

  11. I don’t really get why Phoenix did this deal because it could be a decent deal, slight positive but nothing crazy or Deandre Ayton could become a star and they got fleeced. It’s high risk and low reward which is the polar opposite of what you usually want
