Suns did phenomenal here. They got depth and a center who’s not much worse than Ayton but without the baggage. Allen is having a really good career; elite shooter and two young role players who still have some upside.
Dame is the better player obviously but Jrue-Bam-Jimmy would be such a Heat big 3. That's basically 3 x 20 ppg scorers at current output and 14 all defense selections between them. Blazers didn't want Herro for Dame so trading Holiday to get Herro wouldn't make sense unless there was a third team involved willing to offer more for Herro than the Heat would to upgrade Lowry to Holiday.
Nassir Little will be hurt a lot and Grayson Allen is a worse version of Landry Shamet. There's a lot to like with Nurk, but I'm not sure PHX is overall in a better position to win after this trade. If Milwaukee wins another Championship it will be a success. If not, they've a small market team that unwisely flipped their primary means of acquiring talent. I'd bet on the latter. PDX comes out ahead long term, and possibly even short term. Curious to see what assets they can acquire for Holiday. Fun trade!

Not going to lie, 3 starters above 33 by the next playoff is not that great. Especially considering one of them is meant to be the main defensive anchor is not great. But then you're flipping jrue for Dame. This trade could be another Hakeem getting Clyde drexler
