    The Pistons now can get used to compete against a title contender as their window opens within three years. Previous seasons dont count as not having the right coach and current players were rookies.

    Having two stars does not guarantee wins or a championship….don’t get me wrong dame and the Greek freak are very good….but haven’t we seen very good players come together and do nothing??…listen Piston fans the young core we have are dawgs!!! And our bench could shape out to be pretty good as well….we have future stars on our team at least 3 if you ask me…to say the bucks will sweep this team is crazy…young legs always out shine older legs….and the last time I checked Dame ain’t no spring chicken….and his defense sucks…we have potential to have a nice full TEAM and that always beats out 2 or 3 players

    You make it sound like Giannis has been walking to the finals each year and bringing in Lillard will give them a Bulls-like reign for years. The Buck with Giannis have one title. The move does make them favorites on the East on paper, but you have to stay healthy and you have to play the games. We don’t even know what the Pistons have yet and you are already just throwing out games for 2 years. Will they be underdogs—sure, but that is what makes victories so much sweeter.

    I’m not sure any Pistons are ready for a podcast. I think you need to prove something first before you can start yapping. Let them focus on winning before they start talking.

    While I don’t totally disagree with you saying teams need to get worse for pistons to make the play in I also believe the pistons will still be substantially better with cade back running the team and with everyone around him having another year under them. Also we will have a coach who will actually play to compete and know how to rotate the right guys out there and run a team. I think the play in isn’t too much of a stretch when talking about the pistons this year even when taking into consideration the massive jump in our record it’d take looking at the past few seasons. I just think this year they actually play to win games and they are a lot better than they have shown these past few years. I think we could for sure finish above the hawks, nets, raptors, or any of the other teams that missed the play in last season. I think the bulls would be potentially the most even team record wise where we could sit at. I also think the sixers don’t finish as high as they did last season. It’s hard to tell though with this team and I know i’m being optimistic at the least but I think it will finally be a real interesting year where they actually go out and play to win games all year.

    MPJ is my target next off-season, if he becomes available.

    His money matches Bojan and Bagley's contracts perfectly, so it depends where our draft pick lands that'll determine how much draft capital we need to trade.

    Best yet, even with that trade, we could still have as much as $50-60 mil in cap space by letting Killian, Wiseman, Burks, Monte and Harris enter free agency.

    On paper Milwaukee bucks look like and the next couple that don't mean a thing you never know from year to year and who's going to be able to play any time doing the year, just take a wait-and-see, then say.
