If he wasn’t insanely overpaid I’d be all for it. He’s a great fit at the 4.

Nah I’d rather pay Lebron that money next summer instead
Moe4ver
Is he a 3 or a 4. If a 4, do you bench Grant Williams , if a 3 do you bench Green and if so, will Jerami guard the Point of Attack?
ShootMeOutOfACannon
It seems we’ve made conscious decisions to retain flexibility for next year, don’t think we do this.
StefonDiggsHS
nope not with that contract
-Acerin
I think he is overrated with the current contract which he just got.

Might be an unpopular opinion given his contract but I’d be all over this trade. Jerami Grant would do wonders for this team, in the event we’re looking like a solid 50ish win team that’s just missing a piece or 2 by the deadline I’d be *strongly* considering it.

Yes, please. This is a PF who put up 20/4 on 60% TS (40% from 3) on great defense last season, he would fit perfectly here. He’ll be easier to trade for because of his contract, which isn’t a good deal by any means, but I think he has great third option potential next to Luka and Kyrie which would make it very worth it for us. He could be our 2022 Andrew Wiggins.
papadondon
no need to make brash decisions this year when next season is ripe with free agents that we actually need
actual_yellow_bag
if he was making 25 million sure. Dude’s contract is a cinder block tied around any teams ankles. He’s Tobias 2.0. He’s not that dude to be making 32 million.
Millionaire007
Yes.

No.

With Grant Williams on board, I don’t think it makes any sense to go after this guy and take on his huge contract, especially when the center position is a bigger need that is yet to be figured out.
Yuuta23
Hell no

This is a subject to broach months from now. Depending on how the team is doing and the areas of struggle this might be a totally different conversation by then. Right now PoA defense seems like a bigger issue.

Idk if I’m missing something but Jerami Grant has never jumped off the screen at me. Seems like an awful lot of money for a guy like that

Love the player, not the contract lol.
