Suns have to shoot lots of threes, less midrange more threes.
They clearly got worse and now they have almost nothing of value outside of the big 3, and in a couple seasons from now 2 of those guys are going to be old injury prone and super expensive, they're going to be negative assets not worth their contracts. This team has no draft capital and no young prospects for the future. They shot themselves in the head, when the team can't win in a few seasons from now because they have no way of bringing in good players, Booker will ask out. So dumb
Suns fans tripping. They got a similar player for almost 1/2 the salary. DA is a poor mans Lamarcus Aldridge. Nurkic does all the small things you want in a big. Nurkic similar rebounder, better screen setter, shoots 3's, willing and creative passer, master of the rebound tip in bucket (his touch around the basket is amazing but he can rush things at times.) Before his injury in 2019 he was a legit top-5 center in the nba. Since then, probably out of precaution for prior injuries, he sometimes settles for floater-esqe shots and lay ups when he could just bully toward the basket and get fouled. Kinda overstays on men on perimeter switches instead of cover paint. Still, the guy is hard nosed, will bang with the best of em…. and posted the first 5×5 game in NBA history with over 20/20 pts/reb. 24/23/7/5/5. Guy is very skilled.

This isn't complicated: you can't tie up all that salary on a center you don't run your team through. Of course the Suns are worse now, but that isn't the point.
Why play small for Tf I think Bol Bol should be starting PF are Yuta and move KD to the small forward

If it makes people feel better, just pretend we traded DA for Beal and traded Paul and Shamet for a bench. The result is the same. Overall a better roster than what took the champs to 6 games.

Nurkic is going to be a big surprise to Phoenix. Not only is he better than Ayton for the Suns, but he is a LOT more fun to watch than Ayton.
DA brought all this on himself. The doubt, the lack of love from fans and the ultimate trading (of him) to a worse team.
How many times was he going to dog it on defense? How many times was he going to throw a fit because he wasn't the first option on offense? Plus there has always been rumors about his horrible work ethic.
Getting 18 and 10 isn't enough when you are a huge headache and under archiving no.1 pick.
The depth of this team is such an improvement over the past few years also.
As a nets fan kd as a small ball 5 will wear him out real quick. I recommend playing him as a small forward on the wing.

I thought DA would have attracted more but obviously it wasnt going to happen – we at least have some pieces to trade to try and improve – looks better than what it did at the start of the trade period – would have been nice to see Vogel try and pump him up
The Suns shouldve done the sign and trade with us for Myles Turner last summer. I dont feel sorry for Ayton anymore being stuck on a bad franchise. Suns juat wrote the final chapter on the book of How NOT to run an NBA franchise. Duarnt and Beale will not be worth much in 2 years to recoupe draft capital. They'll just be injured old guys.
